Weight loss is not an easy endeavor for anyone and we want to make sure that you don't embark on this adventure alone. Having a healthy weight is not only good for your physical health but it's also beneficial for your mental, emotional and spiritual wellbeing as well. There are many weight loss options out there and while the tried and true foundation of calories out must be greater than calories in remains the same, we would like to offer an option of kick starting your weight loss with a program like Take Shape For Life. (TSFL). TSFL has been used by many of our staff and patients who have successfully lost weight while learning healthy habits they can incorporate into their life long term. They have customized programs for seniors, diabetics and more. So if you're interested in losing weight and you want a hassle free, convenient and affordable way to kick start your weight loss, check out Take Shape for Life at www.mhfm.tsfl.com and/or come in for a consultation with our physician assistant, Cynthia Taylor to get started!

We always have a provider on call to help assist you if there is a pressing concern after our office is closed. Call our main office number (303-936-0022), follow the prompts and leave a message. The provider on call when return your call as soon as he/she can. If you are having chest pain, shortness of breath or in any way feel that you are having a true emergency, please dial 911 immediately. Also, please be aware that medication refills are not commonly a pressing concern and if it can wait til the next day our office is open, we greatly appreciate you waiting til then. The on call service is no replacement for emergency care nor is it appropriate for our providers to diagnosis you over the phone. Preventative Screening Physicals |
|
Getting recommended screening tests is one of the more important things you can do for your health. Here at Mile High Family Medicine we offer complete physical exams which often include: History and physical exam, blood tests, ECG, vaccines, medication review, health history review, urinalysis, and more depending on what is needed to keep you and your family in optimum health and wellbeing. For children, all of our providers perform Well Child Checks according to APA guidelines, sports physicals, and camp physicals. For Adults, in addition to the routine screening physicals, we also are happy to perform work physicals, insurance physicals and pre-operative consults if needed. We are one of the preferred family practices that perform wellness exams for the West Metro Fire Department. |
